Position Summary
The Medical Market Lead (MML) is a strategic leadership role responsible for enhancing collaboration between WW teams and regional markets in Neuroscience. The MML acts as a liaison and catalyst, bridging WW and regional medical teams to align on disease area objectives and embed market launch excellence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bi-directional communication between WW and regional medical teams, escalating needs and evidence gaps.
- Identify and resolve market roadblocks by triaging communication between WW functions and market teams.
- Provide strategic guidance and tailored support to ensure effective local execution.
- Foster collaboration and share best practices across geographies.
- Highlight data gaps and evidence needs, impacting evidence and medical plans.
- Promote collaborative studies and innovative platforms aligned with evidence gaps.
- Build relationships with WW cross-functional partners to ensure seamless interface with markets.
- Partner with Disease Area Medical Product Leads to ensure deliverables are met.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and resource maps in collaboration with Medical Analytics.
- Build Market Medical Launch Excellence capabilities and oversee launch readiness.
Qualifications & Experience
- MD, PhD, or PharmD.
- 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in Medical Affairs, preferably at a global or regional level.
- Broad knowledge of Neuroscience is preferred.
- Experience with market or global product launches.
- Knowledge of research, drug development, RWE, and data communication.
- Proven ability to lead through influence and build collaborative networks.
- Successful track record in matrix environments and diverse business situations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
