What Your Day-to-Day Actually Looks Like:
- You’ll be embedded within our Global Biometrics & Data Sciences (GBDS) team, working closely with clinical project teams, external vendors, and cross-functional colleagues across the full drug development lifecycle.
- Writing and validating SAS/R programs to produce derived analysis datasets and the tables, listings, and figures (TFLs) that underpin clinical evidence — knowing that every output you produce is held to the highest standard of accuracy.
- Contributing to regulatory submissions (think NDAs, BLAs, MAAs) - this is your chance to be part of the team that gets a medicine over the line.
- Reviewing key planning documents like Statistical Analysis Plans, so you're always connected to the bigger picture and can anticipate exactly what's needed before it's needed.
- Leading programming assignments independently across multiple projects - you'll have real ownership here, not just task tickets.
- Spotting and driving efficiencies - if you see a smarter way to do something, we want to hear it.
What You Bring To The Table:
- A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a Life Sciences discipline.
- At least 2 years of industry programming experience.
- Solid, demonstrable proficiency in SAS for producing derived datasets and TFLs.
- A firm grasp of CDISC standards, clinical data structures, and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with SDTM, ADaM, Data Definition Tables and e-submissions.
- Familiarity with tools like Pinnacle 21, XML, and MS Office.
- A working knowledge of regulatory and industry standards - you understand the rules and the reasons behind them.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience supporting regulatory filings (NDA, BLA or MAA) within a pharma environment.
- Comfort working with R or R-Shiny.
- Exposure to real-world data or real-world evidence.
