This is a field‑based position covering the North of the UK with a focus on the Cardiovascular therapeutic area. The primary scientific point of contact for cardiovascular Thought Leaders and Healthcare Providers across the territory, you will represent BMS’s innovative portfolio in this critical disease area.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage Thought Leaders and HCPs with balanced, accurate scientific dialogue on cardiovascular disease management, BMS products, and HEOR data.
- Respond confidently to complex clinical and scientific questions across multiple channels – from 1:1 meetings to group presentations (in‑person and remote).
- Stay ahead of the curve by continuously updating knowledge of cardiovascular treatment strategies, competitive landscapes, and unmet medical needs.
- Develop and execute a territory Field Medical Plan for the North of the UK aligned with cardiovascular therapeutic area objectives.
- Contribute to cross‑functional planning and feed meaningful medical insights back to internal teams to inform strategy.
- Provide scientific training and updates to commercial, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and market access colleagues.
- Support promotional meetings with unbiased, data‑driven scientific presentations.
- Support interventional and non‑interventional research studies – from site identification to patient recruitment support.
- Advise on study feasibility based on real‑world field intelligence across the North of the UK.
- Assist HCPs with Investigator Sponsored Research submissions.
- Ensure pharmacovigilance standards are understood and upheld at local study sites.
Qualifications
- MD, PharmD, PhD or a science degree with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience as a clinician or MSL preferred, ideally with a background in cardiovascular medicine.
