We have state-of-the art manufacturing facilities in Luton & Peterlee.
As a result of continued growth and expansion, we have an excellent opportunity to appoint Production Engineers in Luton & Peterlee.
We are looking for Production Engineer with varied & extensive experience within the Pharmaceutical or similar Industries. This role will be based on a rolling contract to begin with and potential to become permanent in future. The role will involve meticulous planning and execution of timely maintenance to ensure productivity is not hampered. The role will also involve working with other departments to meet production targets while meeting the MHRA and cGMP compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for handling the maintenance requirements and coordinating with internal departments to meet production requirements.
- To perform and record preventive maintenance activities.
- To overcome daily breakdowns and reactive activities.
- To carry out repairs and maintenance of the sites and facilities.
- To assist installations and commissioning activities of new machines and equipment.
- To assist and coordinate in carrying out qualification, calibration and validation activities.
- To assist and execute new projects.
- To carry out complete tooling change over and setting up the machines as per the quality norms.
- Optimization of change over time, on-floor productivity and machine efficiency.
- Keeping breakdown records and daily activities log book.
- Maintaining, monitoring & keeping inventory of tooling change over parts.
A minimum Science education with specialising in Engineering/Technology. With significant experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical GMP compliant factory. As a person, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and navigate cultural differences with ease. With strong organisation and administration skills, you make good decisions, have a strong eye for detail and can prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines.
