Bristol Instruments, Inc. is seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our manufacturing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform precise assembly of electrical, mechanical and optical components.
- Install electrical parts and hardware in assemblies using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Ensure adherence to technical specifications and verbal instructions.
- Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications, work orders and test procedures.
- Inspect parts for physical defects.
- Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Core Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the assembly and soldering of electro-optical systems or similar high-precision technologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, crimpers, soldering equipment and measurement instruments. Experience with optical components is also highly desirable.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality in all aspects of work. Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical documentation.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment while managing individual responsibilities. A “will learn/can-do/will cooperate” attitude is essential.
