We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer for a Textile Fabricator to join their production team. This role is perfect for candidates with hands-on experience in textile fabrication, industrial sewing, or textile-based manufacturing, particularly those who have worked with tents/marquees, tarpaulins, luggage, or insulated textile goods.
Role Responsibilities
- Fabricate textile products safely and efficiently
- Interpret basic technical drawings to inspect and audit finished goods
- Measure, cut and assemble textiles with precision
- Perform industrial sewing and operate light industrial equipment
- Work closely with the Technical Department to improve conveyor belt design and performance
- Maintain a safe working environment, follow procedures and use PPE
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal form
- Follow operating procedures and manufacturing instructions
- Provide operational cover across shifts during holidays/absence
- Assist in training new team members to maintain quality KPIs
About You
- Experience in textile fabrication, industrial sewing, textile cutting, measuring or textile welding
- Background in tent/marquee production, tarpaulin manufacturing, luggage, or insulated textile goods (highly desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to specification
- Reliable, safety-conscious and a strong team player
