The Opportunity
We’re recruiting experienced CNC Turner Setter Operators to join a long‑established precision engineering company on the outskirts of Tewkesbury. The role focuses on high‑precision CNC turning of patented products that make a difference to people’s lives. Pay & Shifts
Day shift Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–13:00. Salary range £31,000–£39,000 per annum, reviewed annually with progression and overtime opportunities.
What you’ll be doing
- Set and operate CNC lathes producing precision‑engineered components
- Carry out full machine set‑ups, including tooling selection and program loading
- Use Fanuc and/or Mazak controls; training provided for unfamiliar platforms
- Inspect work using verniers, gauges and measuring equipment
- Read and work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
- Support continuous improvement and develop programming skills over time

- Proven experience as a CNC Turner
- Ability to complete full CNC lathe set‑ups
- Experience working with engineering drawings and inspection tools
- Familiarity with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls preferred but not essential
