SIA Security Guard - Ad-Hoc
Location: Royton, Greater Manchester
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Sunday
Morning Shift: 06:30 - 18:30
Evening/Night Shift: 18:30 - 06:30
Employment Type: Ad-Hoc / As Required
We are currently recruiting for SIA Security Guards to join our team on an ad-hoc, as-required basis in Royton, Greater Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and professional Security Guard who holds a valid SIA licence and is looking for flexible working opportunities.
Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, covering either morning/day or evening/night shifts. You will normally be advised of the shifts you are required to work one week in advance, depending on business requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, carrying out regular patrols and providing a professional and high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a visible and professional security presence and deterrent against suspicious or inappropriate activity.
- Monitor and respond appropriately to any suspicious sightings, unusual occurrences or emergency situations.
- Escalate incidents when necessary while maintaining control of the situation until the arrival of emergency services, police or other relevant agencies.
- Carry out regular internal and external patrols of the site.
- Remain vigilant and proactively identify potential security risks or concerns.
- Monitor the premises and report any security issues, incidents or hazards to the appropriate person.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licnese/Badge
- Expereince working in similar roles
