Meridian are working with a leading MEP and construction client who are growing their Aftercare team by bringing in an additional Property Maintenance Engineer to help maintain and care for completed projects in the Leeds and surrounding areas. With a strong pipeline of work and the opportunity for additional earning potential, this is a great opportunity for an Engineer with building services skills within commercial environments.

Requirements

  • Recognised, industry-standard qualification (e.g. Mechanical CSCS, JIB PMES, Electrical JIB card etc.)
  • Mechanical bias required, with some exposure to Electrical building services too
  • Previous FM/PPM experience, ideally on commercial projects
  • Full UK Driving Licence – there will be travel involved in this role
  • Experience with BMS controls and ideally basic M&E building services knowledge
  • Desirable M&E qualifications include BS7671 (18th Ed.), F-Gas, HVAC qualifications, commercial gas certifications, 2391 Inspection & Testing
  • Ability to work in live environments, with customers of various ages and backgrounds

Duties

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across Mechanical and Electrical systems
  • Fault finding on building services equipment in new-build commercial properties
  • Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding, servicing, and PPM such as sanitary, power and lighting, HVAC equipment etc.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and H&S standards
  • Complete job reports, raising evidence and reports of larger issues
  • Liaise with clients and site contacts
  • Participate in on-call rota (if required)
