I’m recruiting for an experienced Home Manager to lead a large, dual-site complex care service in Bradford, supporting adults living with complex mental health needs and dementia. This is a substantial service with over 100 beds across two adjoining buildings. One floor is currently open with a small resident group, and there is significant scope to grow occupancy and shape the future of the service.

This role would suit a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in turnaround environments, is motivated by building high-performing teams and would relish the opportunity to shape the next phase of the homes journey.

The role

  • You will have full operational and commercial responsibility for both sites.
  • Your focus will be on stabilising the service, driving quality and compliance, and delivering a clear growth plan that supports safe expansion and strong local reputation.
  • You will work closely with regional and quality colleagues, taking ownership of governance, staffing, occupancy and financial performance.
  • This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a complex care service with long-term potential.

The ideal candidate

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Home Manager within a large, complex or multi-site care service.
  • Background in complex care, mental health and/or dementia services.
  • RGN, RMN or RNLD qualification preferred, with Level 5 Leadership qualification.
  • Proven experience delivering CQC improvement and strong governance outcomes.
  • Commercially astute, with evidence of increasing occupancy and managing budgets effectively.
  • A visible, compassionate and resilient leader who inspires stability, accountability and growth.
  • Collaborative leadership style grounded in dignity, trust and continuous improvement.

What’s on offer

  • Salary up to £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Up to 40% annual performance-related bonus.
  • Private medical insurance, pension and annual leave.
  • Strong senior leadership and operational support.
  • A genuine opportunity to shape, grow and lead a flagship complex care service.

If you are an experienced Home Manager looking for a high-impact role with scope to build something special, I’d be keen to discuss this opportunity in confidence.
