Nottingham train station (East Midlands Railway) are setting up a new team of Customer Service Assistants on an initial 3 month trial basis from Saturday 15/08/26 to Saturday 14/11/26 (when it will be reviewed). They will be putting 3 information points into the station and these will be staffed to support customers with way finding and journey information. Full training will be offered so that you understand the routes and systems that EMR use to track their trains.
We are looking for enthusiastic, presentable, reliable and engaging Customer Service Assistants to talk to passengers and answer their questions, help them with their journey planning and to give them any extra information they need to make their journey a successful and enjoyable one. This role is ideal for anyone looking for a face to face customer service based role working closely with the public!
You should also ideally be available to work around 5 shifts per week (6 hours each) and be flexible on the days that you can work.
