Mobile Maintenance Operative
Meridian are working with a well-established M&E contractor that are growing their regionalised FM team and are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover the South Wales and Bristol areas.
This role will involve supporting Engineers on various FM and PPM of commercial projects in these areas, and offers a full, competitive package alongside additional earning potential.

Requirements for this role
- Construction or M&E experience
- Previous FM/PPM experience, ideally on commercial projects
- Full UK Driving Licence - there will be travel involved in this role
- No specific qualification or card required, open to different trade backgrounds
Duties include (but are not exclusive to)
- Assisting with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building systems
- Carrying out basic fault finding and diagnostics on low-voltage (LV) and mechanical systems
- Assisting with emergency lighting testing and minor repairs
- Undertaking general property repairs and basic maintenance tasks
- Helping to keep site and plant room areas clean, tidy, and operational
- Supporting basic electrical maintenance and the removal of faulty equipment
- Carrying out small, independent installation works and remedial repairs
- Ensuring compliance with on-site health & safety procedures
- Completing job reports and updating CAFM systems with completed works
- Liaising with clients, site managers and engineers to ensure the smooth completion and handover of work
- Participating in an on-call rota (where required)
