We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical) to join our engineering team within a fast‐paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in maintaining equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting site performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance
  • Responding to internal customer priorities to meet production targets and minimise operational downtime
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with company safe working practices, including risk assessments and HSE regulations
  • Understanding and working to company performance standards at all times
  • Accurately recording all maintenance activity within Agility CMMS
  • Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the introduction of new working practices
  • Supporting the site Project Team as required
  • Attending all necessary internal and external training courses in line with business needs

The Person

To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated and technically capable engineer with strong fault‐finding skills and experience in a manufacturing setting.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

  • Time‐served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline (minimum Level 3)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Experience of preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a busy manufacturing environment
  • Well‐developed analytical, fault‐finding, and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic (fluid power) systems
  • Knowledge of electromechanical systems, with an understanding of control systems, PLCs, and automation being advantageous
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
