The role involves being responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a domiciliary care service that provides person-centred support to adults living independently in their own homes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care services
  • Leading, developing and supporting a dedicated care team
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation
  • Creating and reviewing care plans, risk assessments and care documentation
  • Managing audits, inspections and reporting requirements
  • Supporting service growth while maintaining high standards of care
  • Training, mentoring and developing future leaders within the business
  • Participating in a shared on-call rota and providing hands-on support when required

This position offers significant autonomy alongside the support of an established leadership team and robust operational systems.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care, home care or community care services
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, care compliance and safeguarding procedures
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards achieving it
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance and drive service quality
  • Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
