We are looking for a Security Officer to join a leading global security company based in East Pilton, Edinburgh (EH5).
Salary: £29,731.44 per annum (£13.61 per hour)
Overtime: £20.41 per hour (available on days off)
4 on 4 off Shift pattern - Rotating Days and Nights - 07:00 to 19:00 & 19:00 to 07:00
Permanent role and working on average 42 hours per week.

As a Security Officer, you will be based at a core site in Edinburgh, responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors. You will monitor access points, conduct regular patrols, respond to incidents, complete reports, and ensure all site procedures are followed at all times.
We are looking for candidates who hold a valid and in-date SIA Licence along with a full UK driving licence. Due to the nature of this role, enhanced security screening will be required. This will include a five-year UK residential history check, criminal record checks, financial background screening, and verification of employment and references covering the past five years.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor site access points and control entry/exit
- Conduct regular site patrols to ensure safety and security
- Respond to incidents and elevate where necessary
- Complete accurate reports and maintain records
- Ensure compliance with all site procedures and security protocols
- Work collaboratively with the wider team and Duty Manager
