We are looking for a Business Development Team Manager to join a successful team based in Yeovil. This role would suit someone who takes pride in leading a team, but also still enjoys getting on the phone and developing the business themselves too.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside internal teams to coordinate customer and new business appointments, ensuring that all parts of the business is cross sold and sales are maximised.
- Lead and manage your team, including frequent 1:1s, performance reviews and development plans.
- Support and follow-up on quotations and prospects in a timely manner to maximise conversion rates.
- Resolving customer queries and questions in a manner which maximises customer satisfaction as required and in particular dealing with complex customer cases.
- Processing sales orders using the internal systems, raising purchase orders to suppliers and setting up codes for products.
- Maintaining databases and filing systems.

- Experience of leading and managing a customer sales team to achieve results.
- Experience of developing new and existing customer accounts.
