Moxie and Mettle is recruiting for a highly organised, proactive and commercially minded Marketing Executive to take responsibility for the day‑to‑day delivery of the marketing activity. This is a hands‑on position that blends creativity with structure, requiring someone who can confidently manage multiple projects, collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, and maintain a strong focus on measurable outcomes.
The role is office-based, 5 days a week, so please only apply if you are happy with that arrangement. Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will play a key role in shaping and executing marketing campaigns, managing brand consistency, and ensuring that every client interaction reflects the company’s values and ambitions. Key Responsibilities- The Marketing Executive will take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities, ensuring the smooth and successful running of all marketing activity.
- External digital agency management: The role involves acting as the primary point of contact for the client’s external digital marketing agency. This includes coordinating campaigns across email, social media, PPC and other digital channels, as well as supporting traditional marketing activity such as mailings, PR, case studies and company reviews.
- Performance reporting and analytics: A key part of the role is monitoring and evaluating the performance of all marketing campaigns, whether delivered internally or through external partners. The successful candidate will use analytics and reporting tools to track key metrics, assess return on investment, and prepare regular performance reports for senior management. This requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Content creation and editorial work: You will be responsible for producing, proofreading and editing a wide range of marketing content. This includes website copy, case studies, testimonials, blogs, vlogs, press releases, newsletters and social media posts. The ability to write clearly, accurately and persuasively is essential, as is the confidence to maintain a consistent tone of voice across all materials.
- CRM implementation and management: The role includes supporting the implementation and ongoing management of the company’s CRM system. This involves ensuring that all client interactions are accurately recorded, enabling targeted and relevant marketing communications based on each client’s position within the marketing funnel.
- Internal communications: The Marketing Executive will also contribute to regular internal communications, helping colleagues across the business stay informed about marketing performance, company updates and strategic direction. This requires clarity, consistency and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will bring a blend of creativity, structure and commercial awareness. You will be self‑motivated, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Strong written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to analyse data and use insights to inform decision‑making. Experience working with external agencies, CRM systems and digital marketing tools will be highly beneficial. Benefits- Full time or part time (so either 8.30 am to 5pm or 9.30 am to 3pm)
- To £33k (pro rata for part-time)
- Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm, 5 days a week, office-based, between Bristol and Bath (Could consider 9.30am to 3pm, pro rata salary)
- Pension; 10% company contribution, minimum 2.5% employee contribution
- Holidays – 23 days plus bank holidays
