Women\’s First Team Operations Manager, Bristol City Football Club
The Kit Manager will be a key part of creating a consistently professional environment at Bristol City Women. They will be responsible for all kit provisions across the club for both players and staff and will work closely with all departments.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a hard-working, diligent and motivated individual to join us as Kit Manager.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Be responsible for all First Team player and staff training and match kit
- Print all First Team player and staff training and match kit in compliance with competition regulations
- Launder, dry, store and set out training and match kit for all First Team players and staff on a daily basis
- Prepare and set out the team dressing room and coaches’ room ahead of all home and away fixtures
- Record and monitor stock levels of training and match kit, including regular stock checks
- Liaise with First Team management staff and Grounds staff to assist in setting out equipment required for training sessions and games
- Assist the Sports Science and Medical departments with storage and inventory management
- Clean and tidy work areas e.g. dressing room, boot room, kit room
- Oversee the kit order for the first team & pathway
- To assist the Academy Operations Manager with kit printing and distribution for all player and staff training and match kit
- To attend meetings as directed by First Team management staff
- All other duties that may arise from time to time and fall within the scope of the role
Please note this role includes driving the team kit van between various Bristol City sites as and when required, plus all away matches.
Qualifications and experiences:
- Previous inventory and operations experience, ideally in a football environment
- Valid full UK driving licence due to the driving requirement of the role, between all sites and other stadiums
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- The ability to work effectively under own initiative and also as a member of a team
- Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to anticipate and prioritise workload
- Previous experience of working in the Women’s game, at International, Womens Super League or Championship level.
- Kit Manager experience in a previous elite sport environment
- Knowledge of using a heat press
