Bristol City Football Club has a vacancy for a Digital Content Producer to join our Communications team. Based at the club’s Robins High Performance Centre alongside first team staff, this is a hands-on role focused on filming and editing high-quality content across our Men’s first team and Academy programmes. We are seeking a confident and creative camera operator who thrives in a fast-paced, professional sporting environment and is passionate about producing engaging football content.
The Role
You will play a central role in capturing and producing social-first video content that connects fans to the club, delivering tailored output across key digital platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X. You will regularly film matchdays, training sessions, player interviews, press conferences, events and signing announcements, delivering content to tight deadlines in high-pressure environments. Evening and weekend work, including attendance at home and away Men’s first team fixtures, will be required as standard. Alongside first team and Academy content, you will also collaborate on projects that showcase the work of our Robins Foundation, helping to deliver high-impact storytelling that highlights the club’s impact across the city and community.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Film and edit video content for Bristol City Men’s and Academy channels
- Collaborate on selected Robins Foundation projects and community storytelling initiatives
- Cover matchdays when required, including Men’s first team and Academy fixtures
- Capture training sessions at the Robins High Performance Centre
- Film player interviews, press conferences and signing announcements
- Deliver short-form social content with quick turnaround deadlines
- Produce video edits that support the club’s marketing and commercial objectives
- Support the production of larger in-house features and campaigns
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Bristol Sport, including our creative agency, Fever Pitch
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a confident videographer and editor
- Has excellent camera operation and audio recording skills
- Is highly competent in Adobe Premiere Pro and familiar with Photoshop and After Effects
- Understands framing, lighting and visual storytelling
- Thrives in high-performance, fast-paced environments
- Is proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Builds positive relationships with players, coaches and senior staff
- Has a genuine passion for football and sport
