Part Time - 22hrs per week, Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity within the Children\'s Strategic Commissioning Team for a part-time Transformation and Commissioning Officer role. You will be supporting the Transformation and Commissioning Manager to review, reshape and procure services for children and young people. The work is varied and offers the chance to be creative in seeking new solutions, working with external providers, families and stakeholders to improve services and achieve successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Transformation and Commissioning Manager to review, reshape and procure services for children and young people.
  • Create and seek new solutions to improve services and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Work with external providers, families and stakeholders to improve services.

Qualifications

  • Good communication, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to use IT, including Excel software.
  • Work flexibly to tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience in commissioning or monitoring services to improve outcomes is an advantage.
