Location: City Hall, Bristol (Hybrid working available).
Are you an inspirational leader with a passion for public service and a deep understanding of council tax? We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to lead our Council Tax team within the Revenues and Benefits Service.
In this high-profile role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the effective collection and recovery of council tax against a backdrop of challenging Local Government finances. You will bring your expertise and strategic insight to deliver a high-performing, customer-focused service that balances strong collection rates with compassionate support for residents facing financial hardship.
You will have:
Whilst this post is based at City Hall in the centre of Bristol, the Revenues and Benefits service offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, with most of the team working remotely most of the time. You will be required to attend the office at least once per month or as otherwise required, to fulfil your responsibilities.
