Based at: City Hall, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR with opportunity for home working.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join Bristol Educational Psychology Service working as a Psychology Business Co-ordinator. Whilst an interest in Psychology is desirable, previous experience in the field of Psychology is not required.
Bristol Educational Psychology Service is an innovative and values-based service which continues to undergo significant growth and development in response to an increased demand for our services. We apply psychology to promote inclusion for all children and young people. Our core values of anti-discriminatory and ‘person centred practice’ run through all our work. We deliver a traded service to schools alongside contributing towards children and young people’s statutory Education, Health and Care Plan assessments.
This new role has arisen to oversee our statutory work and our traded requests from schools. Your role will also be integral to impact analysis and reporting on our performance, thus ensuring service development is driven by rigorous quality assurance processes. You will be a central point of contact for families and educational settings as well as service members.
You will bring a commitment to equal opportunities and improving the quality of the Educational Psychology Service. You will have knowledge of and experience with statistical packages, reporting packages and programming. The post will require excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexibly as a member of a welcoming and committed team.
Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
