Full Time, Permanent
This is a great opportunity to join us in Bristol Parks in this Parks Cleansing role helping to keep our parks and green spaces clean and safe.
You will be working in our beautiful estates, formal parks and nature reserves, as well as around play areas and sports pitches across the city.
You will have an important and visual role, working outdoors in all weathers to make sure our parks and green spaces are welcoming and attractive places to visit.
You will be working some weekends on a rota which will involve, on average working two weekends a month.
As a committed individual in this role, we will offer you training and support to progress into Gardener and Chargehand positions as opportunities open up.
What will I be doing?
- Litter picking and bin emptying
- Grass cutting and shrub maintenance with use of hand held machinery
- Clearing flytip from parks and green spaces
What do I need to have?
- Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a wide range of vehicles
- Ability to carry out the physical demands of the role, working outdoors and at weekends
- Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
We currently have two vacancies worked out of:
- Cater Road, Block 15, Unit 9 Cater Road, Bristol BS3 7TW
You could also be asked to work in other areas of the city.
