Full Time, Permanent. An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Markets Team for the role of Markets Operative. The Markets Operative role provides a range of operational services that ensures the safe and efficient day to day function of the St Nicholas Markets team.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out a range of cleaning, waste disposal and recycling tasks.
  • Unlocking, locking and securing premises and open space sites.
  • Setting up, moving and dismantling market and event equipment.
  • Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance to buildings, infrastructure and equipment.

Remuneration: Starting pay: £25,989 per annum.
