Position Summary

Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week. The Parks and Green Spaces service in Bristol offers a vital free resource to Bristol citizens by providing children’s play, games areas, formal parks, and nature reserves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the play team located at Bower Ashton Depot and Hengrove Play Park.
  • Manage inspections and repairs for 149 playgrounds and games areas across the city plus Hengrove Play Park, including a one‑of‑a‑kind play dome and new water splash pad.
  • Ensure the inspection and repair programme is carried out timely and recorded accurately using databases.
  • Work closely with the project delivery team to spend funds wisely and deliver Bristol’s strategic vision for play.
