We have an exciting career opportunity for a suitable skilled and enthusiastic person to join Bristol City Councils’ Harbour Service.
We are seeking a talented, multi skilled site operative to work as part of a small Estate Operations team that are dedicated to the maintenance and general upkeep of the open spaces and buildings around Bristol Harbour. You will be self-motivated and a good team player who carries out tasks as instructed to a high standard, as well as taking a creative approach to finding and undertaking maintenance solutions.
You will require the relevant level of trade skills and experience. The role is customer facing so you will have good communication skills that enable you to interact with a range of our service, as well providing information to members of the public.
You will be based at the Harbour Office at the Underfall Yard and work across the whole of the Harbour Estate.
You will be required to work occasional weekends when special events take place on the Harbourside.
