Starting Rate of pay per hour: Β£13.47 per hour

Part-Time, 39 week Term-time-only positions, with a minimum of 20 hours per week(must be flexible to take on additional hours if required; Split days spread across five mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday; must be available between06:30 and 09:30 am, and 14:00 and 17:30 pm). Roles will be based out of the Sandy Park Depot in Brislington, with parking available on site.

We are looking for skilled drivers who share our passion for supporting children with a wide variety of additional needs. You will need to be calm, dependable,and flexible to drive one of our new internal Home to School Travel vehicles, taking children to and from schools across Bristol and beyond.

You will take primary responsibility for the vehicle safety and route to school, sometimes accompanied by a guide escort who will support the needs of the passengers. At times, some passengers may find the journey difficult to manage and you will need to remain calm and supportive, whilst always focussing on the road. You will also be in regular contact with the Fleet Supervisor and the wider Home to School Travel team, reporting issues where needed.

Ideally you will have some professional driving experience. Whilst familiarity of working or caring for children would be beneficial.

This can be a demanding job both physically and mentally, but also very rewarding. Full training will be provided during induction.
