The Deputy Markets Manager will oversee the operational management of St Nicholas indoor and outdoor markets located in the heart of the historic Old City, and will be responsible for licensing markets across the city.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage market operations to meet the needs of stakeholders, including customers and traders.
  • Maintain service delivery using both in‑house and sub‑contract resources.
  • Lead and develop staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Engage with a range of stakeholders to ensure smooth market operations.
  • Act as deputy to the Markets Manager in their absence.

Occasional long, unsociable hours may be required, including evenings and weekends.
