We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced community safety expert to join our senior leadership team. You will provide strong, values-driven, strategic and operational leadership to develop and deliver Bristol’s community safety strategy ensuring alignment with local priorities, statutory responsibilities and creating the conditions for resilient communities.

Leading a team and working collaboratively with partners and diverse communities you will drive effective, evidence-led interventions that make a real difference to residents’ lives. You will need to be able to work with complex systems leading acute response whilst also driving change. Your leadership style will inspire confidence and trust in colleagues, partners and communities, particularly those communities experiencing the greatest inequity.
