A Children’s Social Care Assistant with a talent for administration is required at Symes House in Hartcliffe. This position will involve managing reception, responding to members of the public, daily use of spreadsheets/data systems and an ability to multi-task and respond to a wide range of demands.
Responsibilities
- Managing the reception area and responding to members of the public.
- Maintaining and updating spreadsheets and data systems.
- Uploading performance information onto a database.
- Administering finance processes.
- Taking minutes at meetings.
- Providing general administrative support to keep the office functioning well.
This role requires strong organisational and administrative skills, the capacity to work under pressure, and a desire to support teams delivering services to vulnerable families receiving statutory services. Good communication skills and the ability to use initiative to support the work of the team are essential qualities.
Key skills necessary for this position include proficiency with spreadsheets, database uploading, finance process administration, and minute-taking.
Requirements
Must be able to respond effectively to contact from families and professionals on a regular basis.
