Overview

Full Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a team that makes a real difference to the quality of life for those who have difficulty accessing their homes. Working with older and disabled people, their families and carers, you will be the main point of contact supporting them through the process of having their homes adapted.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Aides, Surveyors, Caseworkers, Technicians and a TEC Hub team. We provide services to assist those who are having difficulty accessing their homes, either through old age or disability, to continue to live independently.

This position is mostly home and office working with occasional home visits. This post is not suitable for 100% remote working as you will be required to attend the office and carry out visits within the Bristol boundary.

Please note that this role is subject to a Basic DBS Check.

Responsibilities

  • As a Caseworker you will have a strong customer focus putting the customer at the centre of everything you do.
  • You will have excellent administrative and computer skills, be very organised, work well under pressure, be confident, and be able to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Demonstrate how you meet each of the essential criteria in the Person Specification within the Further Information section of your application to be shortlisted for interview.
  • On occasion, high numbers of applications may require shortlisting against desirable criteria in addition to essential criteria.
  • Basic DBS Check as noted above.
