We are looking to recruit Waking Nights Care Assistants for our Children's Home in the Short Breaks service. Part Time, Permanent positions available. Please note we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
The role will be to support the care and development of up to 4 children/young people away from their family homes, alongside a staff team to cover all hours, in a homely environment. During your shift you will be expected to support the upkeep of the home, complete some administrative tasks, and be available to the children/young people should they wake.
Under the general supervision of the Senior Residential Child Care Workers and within the framework of current legislation, you will share overall responsibility for the efficient running of the Residential home, ensuring high quality residential services for disabled children within the overall policy of the Department. You must be willing and available to participate in a rota pattern. The children’s home post will require bank holiday working.
