A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Legal Officer to join the Planning and Transport Legal Team at Bristol City Council.
Responsibilities
- Providing robust, effective and timely legal advice and assistance on planning and transport matters, including:
- Planning enforcement notices
- Tree Preservation Orders
- Highways agreements
- Public Path Orders / Definitive Map Modification Orders
- S106 Unilateral Undertakings
Although the post holder will specialise in planning and highways law, they will be required to work flexibly and, with appropriate training, work across several areas of law.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of planning and/or highways law, able to work predominantly without supervision, and previous work in either a local authority or private practice environment.
