Permanent, Part‑time (16.5 hours per week). The role is mainly evening work (5 pm until late) with some week and weekend days required. Primary locations are M Shed and Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, with additional venues across the city hosting events. The position is paid pro rata at 16.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by helping people enjoy their event at our museums.
- Ensure the safe running of events.
- Give clients the support they need.
- Protect our collection of over 2 million objects.
- Prepare the venue, support contractors and other staff, and unlock/lock venues.
- Assist our venue partner with all aspects of catering on the night.
- Work closely with our private events team (four permanent staff) and casual team as needed.
- Be prepared for early mornings, daytime and weekend events.
