An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Markets Team for the role of Markets Operative. The Markets Operative role provides a range of operational services that ensures the safe and efficient day-to-day function of the St Nicholas Markets team.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of cleaning, waste disposal and recycling tasks
- Unlock, lock and secure premises and open space sites
- Set up, move and dismantle market and event equipment
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance to buildings, infrastructure and equipment
Compensation:
Starting pay is £25,989 per annum.
