This vital role involves supporting pupils during the lunch break, promoting good behaviour, encouraging healthy eating, and ensuring the playground is a fun and secure space for all.

About You

  • Good relationship-building skills and able to proactively engage with students and other staff members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, in particular demonstrates empathy and active listening.
  • The ability to deal with inappropriate behaviour in a calm and non-judgemental way, following academy guidance.
  • Patience, be calm and be able to work under pressure.
  • Positive values and attitudes in order to be a role model to our students.

About Waycroft Academy

Waycroft Academy is a two-form entry primary school, with nursery provisions for both two and three-year-olds, located in Stockwood, Bristol. We have extensive grounds that provide our children with many opportunities for outdoor learning. In our last Ofsted inspection, it was commented that, Staff provide extensive pastoral support. Pupils have wide-ranging experiences to develop their character.
