Overview
We have a very rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated HLTA to join our vibrant and nurturing team at Avonmouth C of E Primary School and Nursery. The role will be primarily covering PPA and classes in cases of staff absence. This position is part-time, 2 days per week. The team at Avonmouth is supportive, caring and experienced. Wellbeing of everyone is a high priority and flexible working is always considered. You will be given time to plan exciting interventions and help us improve the outcomes for our pupils. We have high expectations that all children will flourish and prosper and require someone with the belief that every child is unique and can succeed. Our community is diverse and as such an understanding of a range of needs is essential. We are an inclusive school that believes in everybody prospering including our staff.
Responsibilities
- Cover PPA time and classes in cases of staff absence.
- Plan and implement engaging interventions to improve pupil outcomes.
- Support an inclusive environment where every child can succeed.
