A great opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed GIS Analyst to join Bristol City Council’s (BCC) GIS Team.
Responsibilities:
- Creation, integration and publication of map services and geospatial data visualisations using web mapping applications.
- Using multiple geospatial data formats and knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) applications to manage data transformations and integrations.
- Managing Open Data, metadata and maintaining a Local Land and Property Gazetteer.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a logical and methodical manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in web mapping applications and geospatial data management, analysis and presentation.
- Proven ability in the areas listed above and strong communication skills.
