Responsibilities and Skills
- Support a small team of Social Workers and support workers delivering services to vulnerable children.
- Manage strong organisational and administrative tasks, work under pressure, and operate within a small team delivering statutory services to vulnerable families.
- Apply good communication skills, use initiative and support the team’s work.
- Use spreadsheets, upload performance information onto a database, administer basic finance processes, and take minutes at meetings.
- Provide direct work with children and their families where required.
Qualifications
- Capability to use spreadsheets, databases and perform basic finance tasks.
- Experience in administrative support for social care or similar setting.
- Understanding of equalities legislation and the importance of recognising diversity.
- Enhanced DBS Check required.
