We are looking to recruit one Assistant Programme Officer to join our existing WorkWell West team across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) region.

The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (BNSSG) and their lead delivery partner, Bristol City Council, are delighted to provide the WorkWell service for people empowered to improve their health and return to work or thrive in work.

The Tasks:

  • We are looking for individuals who are organised, thorough with excellent attention to detail who can prioritise workload effectively.
  • Good communicators who maintain excellent relationships within the team and with participants.
  • Accurate data entry skills using computer systems and programs such as Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Entering data into the Contact Resource Management system (CRM) for which full training will be provided.
  • Confident, friendly and professional telephone manners.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of interactions within the CRM.
  • Greeting the public, answering questions and queries over the phone about the project.
  • Supporting the wider team, attending and promoting WorkWell at local community events.
  • Assisting other members of the Employment Support team with various admin tasks as needed.

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.

Employment terms:

  • For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.
  • For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period.
  • For casual workers or members of an employment agency currently working with Bristol City Council, this post will be a fixed term contract.
