We are currently looking for a Domestic Assistant at Glebe House in Almondsbury. Bristol Care Homes is a group of four nursing homes in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We provide top quality, best value, holistic care to our residents, and are an established company with a good reputation for the care we provide. We take pride in the quality of care we provide and the environment we provide it in.

Responsibilities and duties for the Domestic Assistant role are:
- To be on duty as required by the duty rota
- To comply with Bristol Care Homes policies and procedures
- Undertaking general cleaning duties around the home
- Ensuring cleanliness of the home to the required standard
- Carrying out cleaning and deep cleaning tasks
- Ensuring correct cloths & chemicals are used for each job
- Being aware of regulations regarding handling chemicals
- Disposing of rubbish in the appropriate place
- Attending COSHH, manual handling and other training
Hours of work: Part time (Approx 23 hours per week). Will include some working weekends as per rota.
Pay: As an employee age 21 years + you will earn:
- Salary: £12.60 per hour
- 10% enhancements for any weekend hours
- 50% extra pay on Bank Holidays
