We are currently looking for a Domestic Assistant at Glebe House in Almondsbury. Bristol Care Homes is a group of four nursing homes in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We provide top quality, best value, holistic care to our residents, and are an established company with a good reputation for the care we provide. Responsibilities and duties for the Domestic Assistant role are:
- To be on duty as required by the duty rota
- To comply with Bristol Care Homes policies and procedures
- Undertaking general cleaning duties around the home
- Ensuring cleanliness of the home to the required standard
- Carrying out cleaning and deep cleaning tasks
- Ensuring correct cloths & chemicals are used for each job
- Being aware of regulations regarding handling chemicals
- Disposing of rubbish in the appropriate place
- Attending COSHH, manual handling and other training
Hours of work: Part time (Approx 23 hours per week). Will include some working weekends as per rota.
Pay: As an employee age 21 years + you will earn:
- Salary: Β£12.60 per hour
- 10% enhancements for any weekend hours
- 50% extra pay on Bank Holidays
