We’re looking for a passionate and driven Social Inclusion Manager to lead our Access & Inclusion programmes, ensuring we deliver high‑quality, accessible opportunities that support people from all backgrounds and abilities across our region. From working with SEND schools to collaborating with community partners supporting older adults, as well as young people who need additional guidance, this is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our community.
Your Role
As the Social Inclusion Manager, you’ll work closely with the Head of Projects & Development to lead the strategic development and delivery of our Access & Inclusion programmes across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. You’ll manage a dynamic team and oversee a portfolio of projects including:
- Spectrum Bears
- Reminiscence
- Golden Memories
- Rugbyz
- Vets Rugby Hub
- Sensory Safe Space
You’ll play a key role in developing programmes that meet local need, strengthening partnerships with schools and community organisations, and ensuring all delivery is inclusive, impactful, and aligned with organisational and funder priorities. This is a hands‑on leadership role that blends planning, delivery, and relationship‑building – ideal for someone who’s passionate about inclusion, SEND provision, and creating meaningful opportunities through sport and community engagement.

Essential
- Experience working within SEND, education, charity, or youth engagement sectors
- Strong understanding of inclusive practice, education, or youth engagement approaches
- Experience building and developing partnerships with schools and community organisations
- Proven experience managing projects and achieving KPIs and outcomes
- Experience designing and scaling inclusive programmes for diverse audiences
- Strong leadership and line management experience, supporting full‑time and casual staff
- Experience delivering SEND‑specific sessions in school or community settings
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends where required
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Enhanced DBS check and two relevant references
Desirable
- Degree in a relevant subject area
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards a project management qualification
