We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded Commercial Revenue Manager to play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth while enhancing the passenger experience at Bristol Airport. If you thrive on understanding products and passengers, spotting commercial opportunities, driving revenue, and you take pride in building collaborative, influential stakeholder relationships, this could be the role for you.

You’ll be joining Bristol Airport at an exciting time, as we continue through a period of significant growth and investment. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile portfolio, operate in a fast-paced environment, and see the tangible results of your work every day. Given the nature of the role, you’ll be predominantly site based with some scope for home working.

About the Opportunity

In this role, you’ll have end to end responsibility for the commercial performance and development of a diverse portfolio of ancillary services, including Fast Track, Advertising & Sponsorship, Executive Lounges, Foreign Exchange and Vending.

You will:

  • Lead the development and optimisation of existing services while identifying and implementing new ancillary products to drive incremental revenue and improve the passenger experience.
  • Proactively engage and manage stakeholder relationships; ensuring partners consistently drive revenue, meet SLAs and comply with health & safety, sustainability and operational standards.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative, commercially focused solutions whilst maintaining optimal focus on customer service standards.
  • Monitor and report on financial and operational performance across all ancillary services, analysing data to identify trends and areas for growth.
  • Support wider commercial objectives through product-mix optimisation, strategic planning, pricing, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Run procurement and tender processes to select, onboard and manage new commercial partners.

The Skills You’ll Bring

You’ll bring commercial capability, a collaborative approach to stakeholder management and confidence in working with data. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has proven commercial acumen and experience managing revenue-generating services, products or partnerships.
  • Is highly collaborative, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Is analytical and confident interpreting financial and performance data to inform decisions.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused, multi-faceted environment.
  • Is proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable leading supplier relationships.
  • Wants to work as part of a cohesive team whilst taking ownership for revenue generation.

In this role you’ll also be involved in tender processes so some experience in this area or a willingness to learn is also key. While experience within an airport or travel environment is advantageous, it is not essential. We are open to candidates who bring commercial and strategic experience from retail, hospitality, leisure, or other complex, customer-focused, multi-site environments.

Why Join Bristol Airport?

In this role, you’ll help shape services used by millions of passengers every year, playing a visible role in the airport’s continued success. You’ll be part of an inclusive, supportive team where your contribution is recognised and where you can clearly see the impact of your work. In addition, we offer a range of competitive benefits focused on you, including 25 days annual leave plus.
