Bristol Airport is in the middle of a bold and exciting transformation, backed by a £400m investment programme designed to elevate the airport experience for every passenger. To support this growth, we are looking for a technically strong and motivated Financial Accountant who is ready to get stuck in and make an impact.

Please note this role will be hybrid with 3 days onsite in our offices based at Bristol Airport.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing financial controls, reporting and analysis of capital expenditure
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register and ensuring accurate reconciliations
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and spend analysis for major projects
  • Partnering with project managers across the business
  • Assisting with statutory accounts, year-end close and audit
  • Providing technical accounting guidance to finance and wider teams

What you’ll bring:

  • ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified, with 1+ year PQE - this is essential for the role
  • Excellent UK GAAP technical knowledge
  • Experience with statutory accounts and audit processes
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence using IT to improve processes
  • Calm, organised, and able to deliver at pace
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with fixed assets or MS Dynamics 365 will be helpful, but not essential
