Bristol Airport is in the middle of a bold and exciting transformation, backed by a £400m investment programme designed to elevate the airport experience for every passenger. To support this growth, we are looking for a technically strong and motivated Financial Accountant who is ready to get stuck in and make an impact.
Please note this role will be hybrid with 3 days onsite in our offices based at Bristol Airport.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing financial controls, reporting and analysis of capital expenditure
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and ensuring accurate reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and spend analysis for major projects
- Partnering with project managers across the business
- Assisting with statutory accounts, year-end close and audit
- Providing technical accounting guidance to finance and wider teams
What you’ll bring:
- ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified, with 1+ year PQE - this is essential for the role
- Excellent UK GAAP technical knowledge
- Experience with statutory accounts and audit processes
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence using IT to improve processes
- Calm, organised, and able to deliver at pace
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience with fixed assets or MS Dynamics 365 will be helpful, but not essential
