We are seeking to appoint an individual with good interpersonal and communication skills, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of secondary education. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with at least three years’ experience of working with young people in a secondary school.

Reporting to the Achievement Coordinator, this role will involve collaborating with the wider pastoral team and other colleagues to improve attainment and progress for all students. This will include leading on behaviour, attendance and welfare issues for identified year groups and being one of the first points of contact for parents and external agencies.

The successful candidate will join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring; creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. To succeed, you will have a good academic standard of general education to GCSE grade C/4 in English and Maths and have a patient, caring and sympathetic personality. We are keen to secure a high calibre professional who can make a telling contribution to our team.

The department is part of a well led, mutually supportive Learning Support team; there is a very strong commitment to improving standards. The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by a strong SLT.
