We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and competent Learning Support Assistant who will work well as part of a team that truly wants the best from our students. Actual salary: £18,733 to £19,027 per annum

Hours: 32.5 Hours per week, Term Time Only

Commencing: 01 September 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with special needs within the care of the Teaching Assistant to enable them to gain maximum benefit from the curriculum.
  • Assist with the development of communication, reading and writing skills, basic educational skills and general curriculum activities as directed by the teacher or SENDCO.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and be supported by a strong School Leadership Team.
  • Support integration with other students and help them adjust to and cope with the day‑to‑day experiences of life in a secondary academy.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an enhanced DBS criminal record check (including online searches in line with KCSIE update 2025).
