We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and competent Learning Support Assistant who will work well as part of a team that truly wants the best from our students. Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with special needs within the care of the Teaching Assistant to enable them to gain maximum benefit from the curriculum.
- Assist with the development of communication, reading and writing skills, basic educational skills and general curriculum activities as directed by the teacher or SENDCO.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and be supported by a strong School Leadership Team.
- Support integration with other students and help them adjust to and cope with the day‑to‑day experiences of life in a secondary academy.
