Bristan is seeking an experienced IT Director to join our team. Having significantly revamped our digital landscape over the past three years, including a major ERP transition from IFS to SAP S4HANA Public Cloud, we are now focused on optimising and modernising key line of business systems. As the IT Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Customer Experience Digital strategy and ensuring that technology aligns with our overarching Business Strategy.
In this senior-level role, you will lead the IT team, which includes IT Operations and Infrastructure, Application Support and Development, and a group of specialists in various IT areas. You will be responsible for strategic planning, managing budgets, assessing risks, and implementing IT policies that foster a collaborative IT environment. Your leadership will guide the cross-functional teams, enhancing our ability to meet business requirements. Your vision and strategic insights will be essential in propelling Bristan’s technological advancements and in creating an innovative, efficient digital future.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Deliver on strategic planning for technology initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure technology meets the needs of the business.
- Oversee specific IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage budgets and vendor relationships to optimise IT resources effectively.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
- Application lifecycle management.
