Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is looking for a hands-on, reliable Tracks & Grounds Maintenance Attendant to help maintain our racecourses to world-class standards. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same—combining horticulture, maintenance, and raceday excitement.
About the Role
As part of our Tracks & Grounds team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our tracks and facilities are presented at their very best—whether it’s preparing turf, maintaining grounds, or supporting raceday operations. You’ll be working across both Eagle Farm and Doomben, contributing to the upkeep of one of Brisbane’s premier sporting and events venues.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining turf and grounds using ride-on mowers, brushcutters, and other equipment
- Assisting with track repairs, turfing, and preparation before and after race meetings
- Cleaning and maintaining horse stalls and facility areas
- Supporting general maintenance tasks including fencing and running rail repairs
- Operating machinery and vehicles (where licensed)
- Assisting with raceday operations and setup
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who enjoys physical, outdoor work and takes pride in a job well done
- A team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays (including a minimum of 24 Saturday racedays per year)
- Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a similar role (advantageous)
- Licences such as ACDC, White Card, or HR licence (desirable but not essential)
