About the Role
We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to support our Operations Management team at Brisbane Racing Club. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless delivery of raceday operations and business functions through high-quality administrative support. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role behind the scenes—ensuring all documentation, reporting, and coordination activities are completed accurately and on time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing essential administrative support across race day and event operations.
- Preparing, reviewing and coordinating all administrative documentation for race days and business events.
- Designing and creating food and beverage menus for retail and event offerings.
- Collating, organising and printing operational materials for front-line teams.
- Maintaining and updating frontline procedures and clipboard documentation.
- Assisting with rostering administration and staff records.
- Producing reports and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed within required timeframes.
- Processing and managing invoices in a timely manner.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised and thrives in a team environment. You’ll bring:
- A qualification in administration, accounts or a related field (preferred).
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience within hospitality, events or a similar operational environment.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe and other relevant systems.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
You’ll also demonstrate:

- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- The ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively.
